Your Role
As a senior member of our Facilities Operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, smooth and efficient operation of one of TfGM's busy bus stations or interchanges.
As a Site Coordinator, no two days are the same. You'll be highly visible across the site, supporting customers, overseeing daily operations, coordinating responses to incidents and ensuring the station remains safe, welcoming and accessible for everyone who uses it.
You'll be the first point of contact for many customers, providing travel information, assisting those who may need extra support, and remaining calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations or service disruptions. Alongside delivering excellent customer service, you'll play a key role in monitoring health and safety compliance, carrying out site checks, reporting issues and helping to create a safe environment for customers, colleagues and operators.
You'll need to be flexible, as our operational hours are 06:00 to 24:00 Monday to Sunday and Bank Holidays on a shift basis, working 37 hours per week.

You'll have:

Experience of supervising or supporting others in a busy operational environment.

Strong customer service skills, with a genuine desire to help people and provide a positive experience.

The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with incidents, service disruptions or challenging situations.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with a wide range of customers, colleagues and stakeholders.

An understanding of health and safety responsibilities and the importance of maintaining a safe and compliant environment.

Good IT skills, including experience of using Microsoft Office applications and completing reports or records accurately.
The ideal candidate will be approachable, resilient and highly visible on site, taking pride in delivering excellent customer service while helping to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the station.
What we can offer you
We offer a competitive salary starting from £31,885 per annum plus a shift allowance of 15%, this means that as you’ll work on a rostered basis, we’ll add an extra 15% onto your total pay for the month (not just for certain shifts).
