Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options
- Take food orders accurately and deliver dishes promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including handling payments and giving change
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and food safety regulations at all times
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with previous restaurant or bar experience preferred
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling payments accurately
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for supporting food prep tasks
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Upselling abilities to promote menu items confidently and increase sales potential
Pay: £12.71-£19.48 per hour
