We are a 38-bed Nursing Home based in the heart of Kingswinford, close to all main bus routes. Our home has been providing high-quality care to elderly residents for over 30 years, and we are currently looking for kind, reliable and caring individuals to join our team.
We are recruiting for Care Assistants to work 33 hours per week on day shifts.
Shift Patterns
- 7:00am – 7:00pm
- 7:00am – 1:00pm
- 1:00pm – 7:00pm
This role includes working weekends and bank holidays as part of the rota, with one full weekend off every four weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal grooming
- Supporting residents with eating and drinking where required
- Accompanying residents to medical appointments when required
- Engaging residents in meaningful conversation and providing emotional support
- Monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ physical or mental health to senior staff or healthcare professionals
- Following individual care plans to ensure residents receive safe and person-centred care

- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Successful applicants will be required to complete the Care Certificate as part of their role. There will also be opportunities to complete NVQ qualifications in Health and Social Care to support your professional development.
An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
