Job Role
An exciting opportunity is available to join our company as an Electrical Control Panel Builder
The successful candidate will be required to assist the team in the manufacture and assembly of automation systems, primarily being involved in the process of Electrical Control panel assembly, full training will be given. This involves building control panels to a high standard while following point to point wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
We are a small team so this is a varied and exciting role.
We are looking for someone who enjoy's being hands on and thrive in a busy workshop environment.

- Holiday Entitlement – 20 Days plus Bank Holidays.
Essential Attributes:
- Basic practical skills around hand tools.
- Candidates must demonstrate a high attention to detail.
- Full clean driving licence is advantageous.
Candidates will also need:
- To be highly motivated & reliable.
- The ability to maintain the highest level of workmanship and standards.
- The ability to complete tasks safely and accurately to agreed timescales.
- An understanding of safe practice & health and safety.
- Maintain a good housekeeping policy.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills to complete paperwork and understand tasks.
- To work well independently and also as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
· Dimension and layout of back panels and enclosures.
· Mounting of components to back panels and enclosures.
· Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
· Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, Interfaces, & Instrumentation.
· Communicates effectively with all team members, leads, builders, engineers and the Project Manager.
· The ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
· Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
Details
- Hours of work: 8.00 to 16.30 Monday to Friday.
- Overtime may be available
Starting Salary – dependent on experience.
