Duties
- Supervise and support children’s activities to promote their social, emotional, and physical development
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster curiosity and learning
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily needs
- Manage daily routines including meal times, nap schedules, and play sessions with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Lead by example to promote positive behavior, teamwork, and good manners among children
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of childcare and early childhood education are consistently met
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of EYFS
- Experience in planning educational activities tailored to different age groups
- Previous nursery experience combined with management capabilities will be highly advantageous
