A young woman with learning disabilities including autism is looking for a friendly, reliable enabler to support her to access the community and remain independent at home.
She enjoys theatre trips, shopping, meals out, socialising with friends, gardening/allotment visits, family history and holidays. She has a good sense of humour and builds strong relationships with people she trusts.
Hours: 4.5 hours per week
Availability: Monday mornings, Sunday (anytime) or evenings – flexible
Rate of Pay: £14.67 per hour
Duties include:

Shopping and meal preparation

Promoting independence with household tasks

Supporting access to social and community activities
Essential:

Driver with own vehicle (mileage paid)

Friendly, outgoing, reliable

Willing to engage in the employer’s interests

Experience supporting people with autism desirable
An Enhanced DBS (paid by employer) and references will be required.
Expenses paid by agreement.
