Kratos Security, operating in Dumfries and the surrounding areas, is seeking motivated and passionate qualified individuals to take on a variety of tasks. We offer flexible working hours, including both day and night shifts, available seven days a week. We value transparency, openness, and honesty, enabling us to accommodate your preferred hours as much as possible. Pay rates are based on loyalty, experience, and motivation: ranging from £13.50 to £14.50 per hour.
Duties
- Welcome and manage access for guests, staff, contractors, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy
- Conduct thorough security checks to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to oversee premises, identify suspicious activity, and support loss prevention efforts
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services when necessary
- Enforce venue policies related to crowd control, alcohol management, and general safety procedures
- Perform regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security breaches
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and access records to ensure compliance and accountability
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential; certification must be current and in good standing
- Demonstrated experience in surveillance, CCTV operation, or loss prevention is highly desirable
- Knowledge of first aid procedures to assist in emergency situations effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods throughout shifts
- A proactive attitude with excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or irregular hours as required
