Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with a focus on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional environment. Prior experience in janitorial work or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Work hours are Monday to Thursday 9am - 11am
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in commercial settings, including offices, retail spaces, and other public areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other facilities as required
- Dispose of waste and replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times
- Follow health and safety procedures to minimise risks during cleaning tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a professional attitude
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
