We are currently recruiting Care Giver/Support Worker, female driver to support our female and male clients at weekends and one week day. Staff members will ensure that clients are encouraged to personalise and feel settled in their home, and offer, at the request of clients, through an agreed plan of support, guidance and practical help in all aspects of their daily life, including personal care and community access to activities. No experience is necessary as all training is provided and training hours paid. Staff are assisted to gain Diploma in Health & Social Care, and this is funded by the company.
Staff will assist clients giving guidance and assistance with cooking, shopping, budgeting, housekeeping and other practical skills but always with the intention of enabling the clients to achieve a higher level of self-sufficiency and independence. Staff will also support clients to access their wider community and support them to go to the gym, swimming, concerts etc ensuring they remain an active member of their local community. Staff will support clients with intimate personal care tasks and in their communication needs.
Responsibilities:
- Take care of the physical and emotional needs of the client in their home.
- Perform personal care tasks.
- Provide emotional support to the client and family members.
- Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling, recordkeeping, correspondence, and appointments.
Job Type: Full and Part-time
Salary: £13.45-£14.45 per hour, enhanced rate for Bank Holidays, £20.17 per hour
