Pay: £15.01 per hour + up to £250 monthly performance bonus

Kenect Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced 7.5T / Category C Driver to join their delivery team.
This is more than just a driving role. You’ll be delivering furniture directly into customers’ homes, so you must be physically fit, comfortable lifting and carrying heavy furniture, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
In return, you’ll receive good pay, a monthly performance bonus and a Monday-to-Friday working schedule.
The Role
- Drive a 7.5T vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Deliver and collect furniture from customers’ homes.
- Lift, carry and manoeuvre heavy furniture, including sofas, beds and other large items.
- Work alongside a Driver’s Mate to complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Carefully bring furniture into customers’ homes and position products as required.
- Load, secure and protect furniture correctly to prevent damage.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at every delivery.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean, safe and presentable.
- Follow delivery routes and adapt to weather and road conditions when required.
- Comply with all legal, tachograph and company requirements.
- Report any accidents, incidents or delivery issues promptly.

Essential Requirements
- Full Category C Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting.
- Strong commitment to safety, customer service and teamwork.
