Looking for a Career, Not Just a Job?
Lancashire Environmental Services (LES) is a growing local business providing Pest Control, Tree Surgery and Clinical Waste Services across Lancashire and the NorthWest.
We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic trainee to join our team and develop a long-term career in either Pest Control, Tree Surgery, or both.
This role would suit someone who has recently finished college or university, is looking for a career change, or simply enjoys practical work, being outdoors and helping people solve problems. No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.
Whether you're finishing education, looking for a career change, returning to work after time away, or currently claiming Universal Credit and seeking a long-term career opportunity, we'd love to hear from you. We recruit based on attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
Why Join LES?
At LES, we're passionate about creating safer, cleaner environments for the communities we serve.
In Pest Management, we play an important role in protecting public health, supporting local businesses and helping communities thrive. Our approach focuses on education, prevention and problem-solving. We believe successful pest management starts with understanding the root cause of an issue, educating customers and preventing problems before they occur.
We harness technology, inspect thoroughly, analyse problems, apply professional knowledge and consider environmental impacts before recommending solutions. Eradicating pests is often the last step - our aim is to educate customers and prevent issues from arising in the first place.
In Tree Surgery, we help customers manage overgrown, damaged and dangerous trees safely and responsibly. We pride ourselves on providing honest advice, professional workmanship and outstanding customer service. We believe in doing the right thing for our customers and the environment, and for every tree we remove, we plant another through our sustainability programme.
As a small local family business, you'll work closely with experienced team members, gain hands-on experience and have a real opportunity to shape your future career.
