Afterschool’s Assistant (30hrs pw)
Essential criteria/ Qualifications/ experience/ job duties necessary:
Applicants must hold minimum qualification NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or working towards completion.
Previous paid experience working with children within a daycare/nursery/playschool or school setting.
Completed core training or be willing to complete (first aid, child protection etc)
Essential:Clean Full UK driver’s license
Responsibilities:
- To contribute to planning and the provision of a stimulating range of age-appropriate activities and ensuring Afterschool’s is well-resourced and creatively setup
- Daily record keeping
- Engage with children in an appropriate manner
- Attend training and staff meetings
- Meet the individual needs of children, adhere to settings policies and procedures in line with minimum standards.
- Keep confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff which is learnt as part of the job
- Confident to Liaise with parents and carers on a regular basis
- Safely drive the company's 9-seater van to collect children from local schools and transport them to the afterschools.
