We’re currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Newcastle upon Tyne.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a long-term position with excellent earning potential, overtime opportunities and the chance to join a professional and supportive workshop team.
We’re looking for someone with strong workshop experience who is confident carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs across HGVs to a high standard.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible shift patterns available
- Overtime available depending on workload
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining HGVs
- Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Updating service records and job sheets accurately
- Following health and safety procedures within the workshop
About You
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician / LGV Technician / Truck Technician
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent is essential
- Strong diagnostics and fault-finding ability
- Mechanical and electrical repair experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
