We are currently looking to recruit two full time Assistant Psychologists to work into our Primary Care Integrated Mental Health Hub in Rotherham on a fixed term basis until the end of March 2027. There is a possibility of the posts being extended. The main focus of the role is to be involved in the delivery of therapeutic groups, delivering group content on a one-to-one basis and delivering brief interventions for clients, under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist. We have an extensive groups programme, including Trauma Stabilisation, Emotional Coping Skills, anxiety, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and coping with voices.
In Rotherham we have a growing team of supportive, compassionate and value-driven Psychological Professions who are passionate about providing high quality clinical care to service users and influencing the wider delivery of care through the support of the locality teams.
The post holder will have experience of working within Adult Mental Health services and ideally in delivering groups and in delivering individual interventions. They will be eligible for graduate membership of the BPS. They will have knowledge of the challenges faced by people with mental health problems, particularly those with experiences of trauma and where they may have difficulties in interpersonal relationships.
The successful candidates will receive management supervision from the team manager and clinical supervision from a Senior Clinical Psychologist.
