Tempest Education is currently supporting a range of welcoming and well-supported schools across Lincolnshire who are seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to begin or continue their teaching journey. This is an excellent opportunity to build confidence, develop your practice, and gain experience across a variety of school settings.
The Role
As an ECT, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and developing your classroom practice within a supportive environment. You will receive guidance and mentorship to help you successfully complete your induction period.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
- Implement strong behaviour management strategies
- Work collaboratively with mentors, colleagues, and support staff
- Engage fully with ECT induction requirements and development programmes
About You
- Recently qualified teacher holding QTS (or due to achieve QTS)
- Passionate about teaching and supporting children’s learning
- Eager to develop classroom practice and professional skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reflective, motivated, and committed to continuous improvement
