We provide professional inspection, technical assurance, and compliance services across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
We are looking for an Inspection Engineer who can carry out technical inspections, assess equipment and systems, prepare accurate reports, and support clients in meeting applicable quality and safety requirements.
You will work closely with project engineers, contractors, quality teams, and client representatives to identify defects, monitor corrective actions, and ensure that completed work meets approved specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Inspections:
Conduct scheduled and reactive inspections of equipment, installations, facilities, and completed project work.
Quality Verification:
Confirm that materials, workmanship, and engineering activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality requirements.
Inspection Reporting:
Prepare clear and detailed inspection reports, including findings, photographs, observations, and recommended corrective actions.
Defect Management:
Identify defects, non-conformances, and potential risks, and work with responsible teams to ensure that corrective actions are completed.
Documentation Review:
Review technical drawings, inspection plans, certificates, test results, maintenance records, and supporting quality documentation.
Site Coordination:
Coordinate inspections with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and client representatives while maintaining professional communication.
Compliance Support:
Assist with internal audits, client reviews, quality investigations, and continuous improvement activities.
Health and Safety:
Follow site safety procedures, risk assessments, permit requirements, and company health and safety policies during all inspections.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in engineering inspection, quality assurance, maintenance, construction, manufacturing, or a related technical environment.
Education:
A degree, HNC, HND, technical diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
Technical Knowledge:
A practical understanding of inspection methods, technical drawings, quality control procedures, defect reporting, and engineering documentation.
Reporting Skills:
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce accurate, organised, and professional inspection reports.
Problem Solving:
You can identify technical issues, assess their significance, and recommend realistic corrective actions.
Communication:
You are comfortable discussing inspection findings with engineers, contractors, managers, and clients.
Organisation:
You can manage multiple inspections, maintain accurate records, and meet reporting deadlines.
Language Skills:
Strong written and spoken English is required for technical reporting and client communication.
Mindset:
You are observant, methodical, safety conscious, and confident making evidence based technical decisions.
Pay: £38,350.00-£43,000.00 per year
