Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous Coordinator to join our logistics team.
you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our highways maintenance production processes and maintaining efficient communication between customers, drivers, operators and various departments.
Responsibilities
You will be part of a team where you will deal with all aspects of customer orders and telephone enquiries and you will facilitate the process confirmations for work / hires booked, match delivery tickets to purchase orders, collate drivers tip tickets and other compliance documents.
- Assist in planning and executing production activities
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping
- Utilise Excel and QuickBooks for office tasks
- Handle phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
Qualifications
- Proficient in Word, and other office software
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical roles for filling and email replies is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to type accurately and computerise data efficiently
