We are looking for a HGV Loader to join our team at National Timber Systems (NTS) Catterick, part of Premier Forest Products Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Forklift and Sideloader operator to play a key role in ensuring customer orders are prepared, loaded and dispatched safely, accurately and on time.
Working closely with the Production, Warehouse and Transport Teams, you will be responsible for loading customer orders, supporting the efficient movement of products throughout the site, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
What You'll Do:
- Load finished manufactured products and customer orders onto delivery vehicles in line with company procedures.
- Organise and prepare loads ahead of vehicle arrivals to support efficient dispatch.
- Pick ancillary products and ironmongery items accurately.
- Complete loading documentation and verify that the correct products have been selected.
- Ensure loads are safe, secure and comply with company and legal requirements.
- Support the loading and unloading of a variety of vehicles across the site.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the yard and loading areas.
- Work collaboratively with Production, Warehouse and Transport colleagues to meet operational requirements.
- Follow company Health & Safety policies, procedures and safe systems of work at all times.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Forklift Truck Licence.
- Valid Sideloader Licence.
- Experience of loading vehicles safely and securely.
- Basic knowledge of timber products.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible approach to supporting operational requirements.
- Commitment to safe working practices and company procedures.
