Overview
Clockwork Removals Limited is a Removals and Storage company with branches throughout the UK. We are seeking a skilled Reach Forklift Truck Driver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating forklift equipment safely, and supporting warehouse operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to join our team.
Duties
- To create and manage Warehouse client bookings in line with standard operating practices
- To liaise and communicate between Edwards Storage and Customers/clients either face to face, email or telephone as and when required
- Operate Reach Forklift Trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Manage storage levels by accurately stacking and retrieving goods from storage racks at various heights
- Ensure all items are correctly documented and stored
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
- Support materials handling activities, including moving heavy loads safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols
- Assist in organising storage locations for optimal space utilisation and accessibility
Skills
- Proven experience operating Reach Forklift Trucks in a warehouse setting
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse activities
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, including moving bulky or heavy items safely
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with day-to-day logistics operations
- Reach Forklift Licence - required.
This position requires a valid Reach Forklift licence, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
You must be able to prove your Right to Work in the UK status
Pay: From £33,123.00 per year
