Experienced South Indian Chef (Dosa Specialist)

Hours: 60 hours per week, including weekends

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience preparing traditional South Indian food
- Must be able to make dosas to a high standard (essential)
- Experience with dosa batter preparation, fermentation, chutneys, sambar, and South Indian curries
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to work evenings and weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking dosas and other South Indian dishes
- Maintaining consistency and quality across all food served
- Assisting with food preparation and stock management
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service periods

Salary
