Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, including children. The role requires a strong understanding of care, and behaviour management to ensure the well-being and comfort of our clients. You will need a creative flair to provide suitable activities for our clients. you will need to promote a friendly environment for people to gain confidence and independence to provide individuals the opportunity to have choice, creativity, and responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with daily activities, ensuring their dignity and independence are respected.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Assist with behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe environment for all clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns to the appropriate lead staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise with clients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of care.
