Operations and Event Manager
We are Cheshire’s premier, award-winning event caterers and we are excited to be expanding our team. Working in events is like no other industry – it’s fun, exciting and no two days are ever the same. At Vanilla In Seasons we take great pride in every single event we do, from weddings to parties, corporate dinners to canape receptions, providing beautiful food, genuine hospitality and exceptional service. We are seeking a Operations and Event Manager who is enthusiastic, dedicated and hard-working to welcome into our dynamic and committed team. The role will be based within our head office team in Congleton, working at our wide range of stunning venues in Cheshire, Manchester and Staffordshire. 36 hours per week.
The Role
· Leading event catering teams to ensure our very high standards are met in the delivery of our catering services
· Co-ordinating events by liaising with all other suppliers and venue teams
· Liaising with clients to collate event information at every stage of the planning process, ensuring accuracy of all information
· Delivering exceptional events to all our clients
· Working co-operatively and proactively with our kitchen teams to ensure seamless food service
· Represent Vanilla In Allseasons at venue exhibitions, meeting a range of potential clients
· Handling every aspect of the sales process, from initial enquiry to meeting with potential clients and creating their bespoke event schedule and menu
Key Skills
· Hands-on, enthusiastic leader with experience in leading teams
· Self-motivated, flexible and resilient
· Must be computer literate, comfortable working with all Office programs
· Able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients, venues, suppliers, colleagues
· High level of literacy and detail orientated
· Organised and competent problem solver with a can-do attitude
· Event Sales and Operations / hospitality experience essential
· Full driving licence and own vehicle required
· Flexibility; will include weekends
