We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual who can ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality patient centered care to the patients nursed within paediatric critical care. The successful candidate will be expected to work clinically within the multi-disciplinary team, maintain high standards of evidence-based practice while supporting staff on a shift-by-shift basis.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills. They must work with The Leeds Way and Trust values at the centre of their care, for both patients and colleagues. They must be able to demonstrate current and on-going personal development and evidence of their contribution to change management/service development within their current post.
A good understanding of current issues in healthcare both locally and nationally, involvement in improving patient safety, risk and waste reduction and the development of others and general support for peers, junior and senior colleagues are expected.
Effective service delivery requires staff to be flexible and be able to work full rotating shift patterns. Candidates should have current NMC registration and extensive experience as a Band 5 within critical care.
