Our client is a successful, family-owned business with around 40 employees. They have built an outstanding reputation by combining ambitious growth with a genuine family-business feel, where every employee is valued and encouraged to make a difference.
They are now looking to appoint a proactive Facilities & Business Support Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of their site.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position where you'll become the go-to person for everything facilities related.
You'll take ownership of the smooth running of the site across four warehouses, ensuring the business remains safe, compliant and well maintained. Working closely with the logistics, customer service and warehouse managers you'll coordinate contractors, manage planned maintenance, oversee compliance and support the wider business with people administration and operational activities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being visible around the business, solving problems and taking pride in creating a safe and efficient working environment.
What You'll Be Doing

Managing the day-to-day facilities across four warehouse operations.

Coordinating contractors, maintenance and service providers.

Conducting daily site inspections and ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained.

Managing building maintenance, lighting, grounds and general site presentation.

Coordinating fleet servicing and FLT inspections.

Supporting compliance, audits and fire safety requirements.

Liaising with external suppliers, contractors and local authorities.

Preparing new starter documentation and coordinating onboarding and inductions.

Managing annual leave administration and return-to-work documentation.

Supporting managers with general business administration.

Driving continuous improvements across the site.
About You
You'll be proactive, organised and enjoy taking ownership.
Ideally you'll have experience in:

Facilities Management

Office or Business Support Management

Operations or Site Coordination
You'll also have:

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

A practical, hands-on approach.

Experience coordinating contractors and suppliers.

Knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance.
