Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and common areas, using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness standards by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
- Restock consumables such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency and quality of service
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and steam cleaners is beneficial
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines
- Reliability and punctuality are key attributes for success in this role
