We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist the head chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including supervising staff and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
- Supervise and coordinate food production activities, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service periods.
- Support team management by training new staff, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating innovative ideas while maintaining consistency with established recipes.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times, adhering to health and safety protocols.
