We're recruiting Leisure Multi-Skilled Operatives to support maintenance and operational services across leisure facilities in London. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with practical maintenance experience who is reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining high-quality leisure environments.
About the Role
As a Leisure Multi-Skilled Operative, you'll carry out a range of skilled maintenance and operational duties across leisure facilities. You'll be responsible for completing general repairs, routine maintenance, minor works and inspections, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly, safely, and to the required standards.
What you'll be doing
Carrying out multi-skilled maintenance and operational duties across leisure facilities
Completing general repairs, maintenance and minor works as required
Identifying faults and resolving issues promptly and safely
Carrying out routine inspections and reporting maintenance concerns
Working in line with relevant Health & Safety requirements and procedures
Maintaining a clean, safe and well-presented working environment
Working effectively with colleagues, contractors and other service teams
Completing work to the required standards and within agreed timescales
Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities where required
Promoting a professional, reliable and customer-focused service across leisure facilities
What We're Looking For
We're looking for experienced multi-skilled maintenance, trades or leisure facility professionals who are practical, reliable, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
You'll ideally have
Relevant experience in multi-skilled maintenance, trades or leisure facility operations
Practical knowledge of general building or facilities maintenance
Ability to carry out a range of basic repairs and maintenance tasks
Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, organised and able to manage workloads effectively
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work in a leisure facility environment
Relevant trade qualification or vocational training would be advantageous
Previous experience within a local authority or public-sector environment would be desirable
Experience maintaining leisure centres, sports facilities or similar sites would be beneficial
Additional trade skills or maintenance qualifications would be advantageous
Experience with planned and reactive maintenance would be desirable
