We are currently seeking a SHEQ Advisor to join our team at Oneline. The purpose of this role is to provide advice and guidance to company management regarding the management of occupational health, safety, environmental and quality assurance issues. There will be opportunities for the right candidate to gain additional skills and training to progress their career.
More about the role:

To provide support implementing and development of Occupational Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems.

Create and update SHEQ documents and templates
-
Develop and deliver SHEQ training presentation material for the company
-
Prepare formal SHEQ meeting agendas based on performance data, chair SHEQ meetings
-
Support the development of Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH assessments as required
-
To ensure that all necessary records, inspection registers and safety reports are maintained and produce appropriate SHEQ statistics.

Carry out site SHEQ inspections and audits

Carry out for-cause and random D&A testing as required
-
Provide SHEQ advice to managers, supervisors and workers

Work with HR to review occupational health medical records as required

Assist with Environmental compliance across the company

Assist the company with identifying training and competence needs from inspection and incident findings

To support accident/incident management and investigation processes, ensuring that investigations are of sufficient quality and lessons learned communicated.

To support the cascading of relevant SHEQ information as required.

To actively foster and promote a positive safety, health and environmental culture.

Qualifications
About you:
-
Relevant training will be provided to the right candidate (NEBOSH)
-
A good knowledge of the practices, methods and equipment used in the sewage and construction industry
-
Previous experience within a multi-site environment

Relevant experience working in and around the Water Industry is desirable
-
NEBOSH Environmental Certificate desirable
-
Streetworks certification training is desirable
-
Confined Space training is desirable
-
Membership in IEMA is desirable
-
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
-
Committed to continuous personal development

Competent IT skills, using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
-
Ability to use initiative and forward think

Good interpersonal skills

Has a ‘can do/will do’ attitude

Valid Driving Licence
