Guest Services Receptionist

About the Role
We are looking for a Guest Services Receptionist to join our team based at No.5 Maddox Street, supporting the daily operations of our portfolio of luxury serviced apartments across central London. This is a front-facing, multi-site role responsible for delivering a seamless and personalised guest experience across our properties in Mayfair, Maida Vale and Marylebone.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Front Office
- Deliver a 5-star guest experience from arrival to departure across all serviced apartment locations.- Manage daily arrivals and departures ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs. Assisting guests with luggage when requested. - Handle reservations, booking enquiries and guest requests via phone, email and in person.- Welcome VIP and high-profile guests ensuring discretion and personalised service.- Conduct show-rounds of apartments for prospective guests, agents and corporate clients.- Assist guests with local recommendations, transport, dining reservations and concierge services.
- Any reasonable Ad-hoc jobs as requested by senior managers.
Reservations & Administration
- Input and manage reservations accurately within the Mews property management system.- Monitor availability and assist with last-minute bookings and enquiries.- Maintain accurate guest profiles and preferences.- Support credit control processes and ensure correct payment handling procedures.
Property Operations
- Conduct room and apartment inspections to ensure apartments meet company standards prior to guest arrival.- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure apartments are ready for occupancy.- Manage operational requests across the portfolio of serviced apartments.
- Prepare daily operational reports and assist with internal communication between departments.- Conduct after-hours property walk-arounds and security checks across the portfolio where required.
Brand Representation
- Maintain the company’s luxury brand standards and service culture at all times.- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, restaurants, galleries and service providers.- Stay informed about local art, culture, dining and events in London to enhance the guest experience.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, boutique hotels, or serviced apartments.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Immaculate personal presentation and professional manner.- Fluent spoken and written English.- Strong organisational and administrative skills.- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced service environment.- Experience working independently and taking initiative.- Confident handling VIP and high-profile guests.
Technical Skills- Competent with Microsoft Office.- Familiar with online booking platforms and distribution channels.
