We are looking for a creative and organised Social Media Manager to manage our company and client social media accounts.
Job Overview
Hulk Marketing is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to manage our company and client social media accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for content planning, copywriting, scheduling, community management, performance reporting and developing strategies to increase engagement, reach and enquiries. This is a full-time, on-site UK role offering a salary of £30,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, with visa support available for eligible candidates.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage multiple client social media accounts.
- Create monthly content strategies and content calendars.
- Plan, schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
- Write engaging captions, headlines and calls to action.
- Develop ideas for posts, reels, stories, carousels and promotional campaigns.
- Prepare creative briefs for graphic designers and video editors.
- Review content before it is submitted to clients or published.
- Respond to comments, messages and customer enquiries professionally.
- Monitor trends, competitors and audience behaviour.
- Grow client reach, engagement, followers, enquiries and website traffic.
- Track social media performance and prepare monthly reports.
- Communicate with clients regarding content, approvals and performance.
- Work closely with our designers, video editors, paid advertising specialists and account managers.
- Support Meta advertising campaigns by providing ad copy and creative ideas.
- Ensure all content is accurate, professional and published on time.
Essential Requirements
- One to three years of professional social media management or digital marketing experience.
- Experience managing business or client social media accounts.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Experience creating content calendars and social media strategies.
- Excellent written English and copywriting skills.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, engagement and audience growth.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Good communication and client-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work on-site at our UK office.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience working within a marketing agency.
- Experience using Meta Business Suite, Canva and social media scheduling tools.
- Basic graphic design or short-form video editing skills.
- Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, SEO or Google Analytics.
- Experience creating Instagram Reels, TikTok videos and YouTube Shorts.
- Photography or videography experience.
