A modern community dental practice inGlossop is recruiting for a reasonably local Apprentice Dental Nurse. The person should be keen and enthusiastic about the industry and have a good track record in timekeeping, punctuality and reliability have an excellent approach to customer care and have a reasonable understanding of the of the requirements of the Dental Apprenticeship.
Below is a list of some of the duties you will be undertaking
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Providing oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study models
- Performing basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring and trimming models
- Scheduling patient appointments and maintaining patient records
- Providing support to the front desk as needed
Qualifications:
- Maths and English grade 4 (C) or above
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent organisational skills
