Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tiler to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure and prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or primers
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to accurately execute tile layouts and patterns
- Cut tiles precisely using hand tools such as tile cutters, chisels, and power tools like saws and grinders
- Install tiles on floors, walls, countertops, and other surfaces with attention to detail and quality standards
- Apply construction painting techniques when needed to ensure seamless finishes around tiled areas
- Follow safety protocols consistently when handling tools and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines and specifications
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on tiling projects or related trades
- Skilled in using hand tools such as tile cutters, chisels, trowels, and levels
- Familiarity with power tools including saws, grinders, drills, and sanders used in tiling applications
- Knowledge of schematics and technical drawings for accurate tile placement
- Experience with construction painting techniques is a plus to ensure cohesive finishes
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics to follow project plans precisely
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites and tool handling
