Control Room Operator
Lurgan Area
42 Hours Per Week | 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern | Days Only (7am–7pm)
£13.54 per hour
Silverwood Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Control Room Operator to join a fast-paced and professional operations team based in the Lurgan area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring and managing alerts relating to high-value vehicles, liaising directly with clients, and ensuring compliance procedures are followed at all times.
Main Duties
- Managing alerts and communicating effectively with vehicle owners
- Handling incoming and outgoing client calls professionally
- Monitoring systems and ensuring compliance standards are maintained
- Working closely with clients and internal teams nationwide
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Following procedures for incident reporting and real-time vehicle monitoring
- Meeting individual KPI targets
- Keeping up to date with system changes and operational updates
- Using a range of internal systems (full training provided)
- Ensuring all Health & Safety and ISO procedures are adhered to
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Professional attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Experience
- Experience within a professional office or control room environment
- Previous customer service experience, particularly over the phone
- Ability to work autonomously and meet targets/KPIs
Essential Requirements
- Applicants must be able to provide a 5-year checkable work history
- Successful candidates must pass relevant background and security checks in line with industry standards
