Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team Monday - Thursday 9.00 - 16.30.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods using a curtain side lorry. This role requires a commitment to excellent customer service and adherence to all driving regulations.
Duties
- Operate a 7.5 tonne curtain side for the transportation of goods to various locations.
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with road regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Ensuring goods are secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures while on duty.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles.
- Valid CPC
- Digital Tacho
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed lorries.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
