CNC Turner Programmer
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm
The Company
Our client is a well-established precision engineering company based in Tamworth, supplying high-quality precision components to a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their skilled machining team.
The Role
This is a permanent days-based position working on a variety of precision components. The successful candidate will be machining predominantly small batch work, ranging from one-off prototypes through to batches of around 10-off, requiring a high level of attention to detail and quality.
Responsibilities
Programming, Setting and operating CNC Turning machines.
Working with Fanuc controls.
Producing precision components from engineering drawings.
Manufacturing one-off and small batch components.
Working to tight tolerances of up to 0.001mm.
Carrying out self-inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
Previous experience setting and operating CNC Turning machines.
Good knowledge of Fanuc controls.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience producing high-precision components to tight tolerances.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience within a precision engineering environment.
What's on Offer
Permanent day shift.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am ? 4:30pm.
Overtime available - 1.333x weekdays, Saturday 1.5x, Sunday 2x
