Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, provide product information, and assist with purchases to enhance their shopping experience
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure products are attractively presented and accessible
- Handle materials safely during stock replenishment, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading deliveries efficiently
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately for prompt dispatch
- Maintain high standards of quality control by inspecting products for damages or defects and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stock movement or loading/unloading tasks
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with forklifts is a plus; forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory (training can be arranged)
- Experience using warehouse management systems or similar software to manage stock data effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for picking, packing, and quality checks
- Good communication skills to assist customers confidently and collaborate with team members
- Willingness to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment
