JOB PURPOSE
To work with the Engineering Team to carry out both planned and preventative maintenance, installations and repairs in order to ensure the objectives of the business are met.
You will be a self-motivated individual capable of working on your own or as part of a team. Experience of repairing and maintaining a wide range of manufacturing/ production equipment and time served as an Electrical Engineer with some Mechanical knowledge is essential.
DETAILED ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Competently carry out general maintenance, installations and repairs to equipment both planned and preventative.
- Help develop and complete PPM’s when required.
- Liaise with production teams and Line Manager over machine breakdowns to prioritise repairs.
- Support factory operatives in performing machine changes and settings.
- Ensure maximum uptime and minimum downtime of all operations.
- Ensure knowledge of equipment and machinery within area of operation.
Any other duties, as demanded by the job role and as requested by your line manager as and when required.
SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ BEHAVIOURS REQUIREMENT
- Experience in production environments
- A high regard for safety, quality, accuracy and attention to detail
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Multi Skilled with an electrical bias
Pay: £46,000.00-£51,000.00 per year
