We are seeking a motivated and friendly In-Store Team Member to join our dynamic retail environment. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their visit
- Assist with meal and food preparation, ensuring quality standards are maintained
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Support catering events by preparing ingredients and assembling orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food preparation areas and store environment
- Restock shelves with food items, ingredients, and supplies as needed
- Handle transactions at the checkout point efficiently and accurately
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene standards are upheld
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food preparation, meal assembly, and kitchen safety practices is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of food safety standards and hygiene procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary activities and retail operations
