Due to company expansion we are seeking to recruit 1x Class 1 car transporter driver.
THOSE WITHOUT A CLASS 1 DRIVING LICENCE NEED NOT APPLY. THOSE OUTSIDE OF THE UK NEED NOT APPLY.
Based in Leeds (but may out base for an experienced car transporter driver) we are a family run car transport company covering the whole of the UK. The job will entail doing 4 nights out per week so you must be willing to commit to being a full time tramper.
Responsibilities:
- Loading, securing, and transporting vehicles safely
- Carrying out vehicle collections and deliveries from a variety of sites
- Completing collection and delivery PODs and vehicle condition reports
- Performing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport and company regulations
- Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude with customers
- Reporting any issues directly to the Transport Manager
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Class 1 (Category C&E) licence, have an up-to-date CPC qualification and a valid digital tachograph card
- Experience driving car transporters preferred but full training will be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude
- Good attention to detail and ability to handle vehicles with the utmost care
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Full, clean driving licence without unspent convictions is heavily preferred.
