Educare Nursery is an award-winning, family-owned nursery located close to the beautiful market town of Beverley. Established over 25 years ago, we have built an excellent reputation for providing high-quality childcare in a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment.
We care for children from 3 months to 5 years within our nursery and continue to support families through our Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Club for children up to 11 years old. Current Vacancies
Full-Time Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
We are looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner who holds a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent). The successful candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care and education, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will help create a warm, stimulating and engaging environment where children can learn through play and develop confidence, independence and curiosity. You will build positive relationships with children and their families, contribute to planning exciting learning opportunities and ensure every child receives the highest standard of care.
Part-Time Out of School Club Practitioner (30 hours per week)
We are also recruiting for a Practitioner to join our Breakfast Club and After School Club team.
This position is 30 hours per week.
During school term time, you will work split shifts, Monday to Friday:
- 7:00 am - 9:00 am (Breakfast Club)
- 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (After School Club)
During school holidays, your hours will change to support our Holiday Club:
- 9:00 am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- One-hour unpaid lunch break
This role offers the opportunity to work with school-aged children throughout the year, providing engaging activities and a safe, welcoming environment before and after school during term time, and throughout the day during our Holiday Club.

Main Responsibilities
Depending on the role, your responsibilities may include:
- Providing high-quality care and education for children.
- Supporting children's learning and development through engaging play and activities.
- Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Acting as a Key Person where appropriate.
- Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that encourage children's development.
- Ensuring children's safety, health and wellbeing are always prioritised.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Following all safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures.
