General Operative – Cannock

Salary: £13.50 per hour - Rate per hour will go up once probation has been passed.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking forklift operative to join our clients team in Cannock.
The role will involve the safe handling and movement of batteries, preparing and making battery leads, and carrying out general duties within the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Moving and handling batteries safely around the site
- Preparing and making battery leads
- Loading and unloading materials when required
- Keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider team with general warehouse and production duties
- Use of a forklift
The Ideal Candidate
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Good attention to detail
- Previous warehouse, production or battery-handling experience is desirable but not essential
- Willing to learn and work as part of a team
Full training can be provided for the right candidate.
Please be aware, an accredited forklift license is required for this role however, there may only be a few instances you will be required to use to forklift.
