We are looking for a Senior Audio Systems Engineer (m/f/d) who can take ownership of complex audio system architecture and technical development. You won't simply design audio hardware—you will help shape the performance, reliability, and innovation behind our entire product portfolio.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, guiding projects from concept through production while solving challenging technical problems involving acoustics, embedded systems, digital signal processing, and system integration. Your expertise will directly influence products used by customers who expect uncompromising audio performance.

Key Responsibilities
System Architecture: Design and develop high-performance audio systems, ensuring optimal functionality, reliability, and scalability across multiple product lines.
Digital Signal Processing: Develop, implement, and optimize DSP algorithms to improve sound quality, signal integrity, and overall system performance.
Hardware & Software Integration: Work closely with embedded software, electronics, mechanical, and firmware engineers to deliver fully integrated audio solutions.
Testing & Validation: Plan and perform system verification, acoustic measurements, troubleshooting, and performance validation throughout the product development lifecycle.
Technical Leadership: Provide engineering guidance during design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to best practices across multidisciplinary project teams.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance product performance, manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and long-term maintainability through innovative engineering solutions.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: 6+ years of professional experience in audio systems engineering, electronics engineering, acoustic engineering, or a related technical field, with proven experience delivering complex engineering projects.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP), embedded systems, analog and digital electronics, audio system architecture, and system integration.
Engineering Tools: Experience using laboratory test equipment, simulation software, audio measurement tools, and engineering documentation platforms throughout the development lifecycle.
Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly while collaborating effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders.
Mindset: You are analytical, detail-oriented, and driven by solving challenging engineering problems. You understand how to balance technical perfection with practical product delivery while maintaining the highest engineering standards.
Pay: £55,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
