Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Assist residents and clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals under your care.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary, adhering to dietary requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in health status.
- Support clients with light domestic tasks to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and their families to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes efficiently.
- Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments when required.
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to adapt support accordingly is advantageous.
- Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of clients or supplies.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
