Kitchen Lead / Cook Peony & Corks Café is looking for a confident, reliable and passionate Kitchen Lead/Cook to join our friendly village café team. We are looking for someone who can take charge of the kitchen day-to-day, keep service running smoothly, support the team, and help us maintain high standards with fresh café food, specials, breakfasts, lunches and homemade bakes. Duties include: Preparing and cooking café breakfasts, lunches and daily specials Keeping the kitchen organised, clean and compliant Supporting stock control and prep lists Helping create new specials and seasonal dishes Working calmly during busy service Supporting and guiding other kitchen staff Following food hygiene, allergen and safety procedures We’re looking for someone who is: Confident cooking in a busy kitchen Organised, calm and reliable Able to lead by example Friendly and a team player Passionate about good food and customer experience Food hygiene trained or willing to complete training Hours: Part-time/full-time available, including some weekends Pay: From £13.20 per hour, depending on experience Location: Peony & Corks Café, Langport area To apply, please send your CV or message us with your experience.
