This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers looking to gain hands-on experience within schools while supporting students across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons.
The Role:
As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and students across KS3 and KS4 to help support learning, engagement, and attainment within Science subjects.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting students within Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Working with small intervention groups to improve student understanding and confidence
- Providing 1:1 support for students who require additional assistance
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, practical activities, and classroom management
- Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Supporting students with SEN or additional learning needs where required
What We Are Looking For:
- A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related Science subject
- A passion for education and supporting young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Previous experience working with children or within schools is desirable but not essential
