Prior Park College, overlooking historic Bath is seeking a dedicated Carpenter to join our Estates Department and will play an important part in the maintenance of the Prior Park College and Prior Park Paragon buildings and in the day-to-day life of the schools.
The main areas of responsibility include:
- Assist with the maintenance of the College and Paragon buildings.
-Making windows, doors and general timber construction.
-Help to provide an efficient maintenance support service for the teaching and boarding staff, and for the various functions and activities carried on in school.
-Carry out carpentry, decoration and other light building duties as required and as your skills permit.
-Use company helpdesk system for fault reporting and the tracking of rectification work.
A full clean driving licence will be required.
The Estates Department maintains the buildings, grounds and gardens at both Prior Park College and the Prior Park Paragon reporting to the Estates Manager. The team consists of skilled builders, plumbers, carpenter, and an electrician. This team maintains the schools’ general maintenance, ensuring compliance and carrying out small capital works. The grounds and gardens side consists of gardeners, grounds persons specialising in sports preparation and grounds presentation.
This role will commence as soon as all pre-employment checks are in place. Salary dependant on experience.

Prior Park, Bath an independent, co-educational day school based in a beautiful Georgian house a mile from the centre of Bath. Catering for more than 250 children aged three to 11.
