Our menu centres around breakfast, brunch, lunch, sandwiches, salads and speciality coffee, with a focus on flavour, presentation and quality ingredients.
We’re looking for an experienced Café Chef to join our growing kitchen team, preparing high-quality breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes in a fast-paced, wellness-focused environment.
You don’t need to have been a Head Chef or Sous Chef, but you should have experience working in a professional kitchen and be confident with the fundamentals of food safety, allergens, preparation and service.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who genuinely loves cooking, is eager to learn, communicates well, and wants to grow alongside an exciting independent business.
About the Role
As a Breakfast Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, preparing and presenting a wide range of breakfast and brunch dishes while helping to maintain the high standards that Revival is known for.
This role is best suited to someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, collaborative kitchen environment where every team member contributes across all aspects of service, prep, stock management and daily operations.
You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your section, develop your skills, and become an important part of a growing business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes to a consistently high standard
- Ensure excellent presentation and attention to detail on every plate
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy services
- Complete daily prep and ensure the kitchen is organised and ready for service
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
- Assist with stock control, stock rotation (FIFO), deliveries and ordering
- Complete daily kitchen checklists and records accurately
- Maintain a clean, organised and compliant kitchen environment
- Work closely with management and colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Contribute ideas for seasonal specials and menu improvements
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen
- Good understanding of food hygiene, food safety and allergen management
- Knowledge of stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Ability to work efficiently during busy services
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working independently when required
