About Us
The role is part of the Obex Dental Group, where you will join a team of Practice Managers across the business, supported by our experienced Head Office team. This provides an excellent opportunity to share ideas, best practice and experience with colleagues across the group, while having the support and resources of a wider organisation behind you.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Manager to take responsibility for the smooth, efficient and successful day-to-day running of the practice.
The Role
As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the practice, ensuring that both our patients and team receive the highest level of support.
You will lead by example, creating a positive and professional working environment while ensuring the practice continues to operate efficiently and successfully.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the private dental practice
- Leading, motivating and developing the practice team
- Ensuring an exceptional patient journey and consistently high levels of customer service
- Managing staff performance, training, development and recruitment
- Managing rotas, holidays and staffing requirements
- Monitoring practice performance and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
- Supporting the financial and commercial performance of the practice
- Overseeing patient enquiries, feedback and complaints
- Ensuring high standards of practice organisation, presentation and professionalism
- Managing stock, suppliers and practice resources
- Maintaining compliance with CQC, GDC and other relevant regulations
- Ensuring practice policies and procedures are followed and regularly reviewed
- Working closely with the Head Office team and fellow Practice Managers across the group
- Sharing knowledge and best practice across the wider group
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and passionate about delivering an excellent patient experience.
Ideally, you will have previous experience managing a dental practice, although we would also consider candidates with strong management experience within a private healthcare environment with CQC exposure.
