Summary
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Engineering Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering team and support the smooth, safe and efficient running of our busy manufacturing site.
In this key role, you will plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance activity to help improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the right standard.
The role
· Plan and schedule planned, preventive and corrective maintenance work.
· Manage work orders, maintenance records and updates within the CMMS.
· Coordinate labour, materials, spare parts, tools and contractor support.
· Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to minimise downtime.
· Support safe working practices, food safety standards and continuous improvement.
About you
· You have an engineering or maintenance qualification, such as HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent.
· You have experience in a manufacturing, processing or industrial environment.
· You are confident planning work, prioritising tasks and communicating with different teams.
· You have experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.
· Experience in food manufacturing would be an advantage.
