Are you an experienced Care Assistant looking for variety, flexibility, and guaranteed hours? Karlyon Care Ltd is looking for a compassionate and reliable Multi-Site Care Assistant to support our care homes across Cornwall and Plymouth. Our current sites include: St Minver, Torpoint, Plymouth.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of services, supporting residents in Residential, Dementia, and Mental Health settings while becoming part of a dedicated and supportive team.
What We Offer
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- £15.00 per hour
- £0.55 per mile mileage allowance
- Access to on-site electric vehicle charging at our care homes where available
- Travel time allowance (dependent on location from sites)

About the Role
As a Multi-Site Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care across our homes, covering planned shifts, annual leave, and short-term absences.
You will work 6 to 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays, depending on the needs of the service at our various sites across Cornwall & Plymouth.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities.
- Administering medication safely and accurately.
- Maintaining accurate care records.
- Working closely with colleagues and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Adapting confidently to different care environments while maintaining excellent standards.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant within a care home setting.
- Experience administering medication is essential (training will be provided on Karlyon Care Ltd's medication system).
- A caring, professional, and flexible approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work confidently across a range of care settings.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as you will be required to travel between our homes across Cornwall and Plymouth.
